We have been present in the field of ferroalloy for nearly 20 years and are having a number of applications in Italy and in the rest of the world.
Our automation packages include the plant management from PLC for the handling and the diagnostics of actuators and an interfacing system with the operator which can be either an ordinary operator board or a SCADA system running under Windows NT, Windows 95 and Windows XP.

Plant automation

Our automation programs can be provided for a number of PLC, different in make and type, from the whole group of PLC SIEMENS S7 to Allen Bradley, GE Fanuc, Omron and many others.
These programs offer the possibility of an automatic plant handling to execute compiled recipes, or manual from the operator board, the management of consumptions of the extracted material and of the diagnostics of the plant.
Moreover, a network connection with other devices (such as PC or PLC) to transmit production data and to receive controls and recipes is provided.

Operator’s Interfaces

The plant control occurs through interfacing video systems which can range from the ordinary board on the operator’s machine side to complex supervisions by computer.
Such supervisions are developed using the most advanced systems (SCADA) as WinCC (SIP) and Protool/Pro by Siemens or others (Zenon, Citect, etc.) and they are personalized on the customer requests.
The supervisions realized with these software can permit a graphic display of the plant state in a simple and intuitive way (ex. Blue = ready, red = alarm, green =in action ), and it gives the possibility to manage the recipes file of the materials, to choose the destinations and to start or stop the plant, the possibility to set out in a simple way data set-up for the proper functioning of the plant (ex. Power of some machines weight, etc.) the possibility to check the active alarms and their location (reducing the time of intervention), the possibility to register files, set up proceeding parameters, to execute reports and consumption, etc.
It is also possible to have server-client configurations or with more stations which are able to guarantee always a continuously service.
